There's really no explanation needed for my response to this theme. Made up a boy, stole the hair from a Ukrainian music video and experimented with flesh tones. The interpretation is pretty self-explanatory; I may have a thing for pain, or just physical manifestations of pleasure.
I was originally going to do an oil of this; I had actually started one the other night, but I didn't finish it. I ended up painting this with gouache for the first time on the train back home.

I may or may not have played this video over and over again all this week. The choreography, the cinematography and the boys in general.
Also, I was looking through some of Gareth Pugh's boys and his old stuff to get a feel for penalize. Just black leather and a heady rush of pain-pleasure. Love it so so much.
