Sorry about the incredibly late post--I've been really busy with school work and applications. A lot of projects are starting and I have a good feeling for the future. But for this theme, I tried painting on photoshop for the first time and I have to say... I am not very good. This one is unfinished if you look carefully (or perhaps you can tell very easily). There are many shadows missing on the face, the hair is melted plastic, and "freckles" (the kind you buy in a can) have been sprinkled everywhere.
Instead of continuing to paint layers and smudge them into place at a slow and arduous pace, I decided it best to just leave it. I think I'm going to stick with tradition paints for a while, and maybe I'll come back to digital painting another day when I feel confident enough (ego is sore).
Despite the outcome, I'm glad that I got the chance to explore this medium.
